Outgoing BC Fed president helps launch "Fight for 15"

They’re calling it the “Fight for 15” campaign. The BC Federation of Labour is calling on the province to increase the minimum wage to 15 dollars an hour

Outgoing Fed president Jim Sinclair says people shouldn’t be working full time and still living in poverty. He says BC’s minimum wage is one of the lowest in Canada, and it’s time to change that.

The last hike in the minimum wage was in 2012, when it rose to $10.25 an hour, although it remains lower for restaurant and bar servers.
