Officials say if you don’t need a straw, decline it, use reusable shopping bags, use a water bottle or tumbler for hot or cold drinks, pack lunches in containers rather than plastic, and avoid foods with excess packaging.
When you order take out, ask them to not put in the plastic cutlery set, choose cardboard over plastic when you can, try swapping out your plastic toothbrush for a bamboo one, avoid products that contain microbeads and when your plastic hamper breaks, invest in a bamboo one.
