The Independent Investigation Office of BC has concluded the Nanaimo RCMP is not connected to the death of a man in the Harbour City.
The body of the man was found Monday in a car lot on Terminal Avenue in downtown Nanaimo and the RCMP called the Independent Investigation Office of BC.
That Office can be called in to conduct an independent investigation to look into whether or not police have a connection to a victim in any way.
That means the investigation into the death is back in the hands of Nanaimo RCMP and is ongoing.
