Plans for a new hospital in the Cowichan Valley are churning through the system.
Last night, Tom Anderson, special projects manager with the Cowichan Valley Regional Hospital District held an invitation only meeting just for households of the area where a new facility is proposed.
He says a number of comments were gathered from the one hundred and 80 in attendance…..
He says he hopes to eventually have a full public meeting…..
Currently the project is sitting on the desks of officials at the Municipality of North Cowichan.
They’ve got to rezone the parcel of land before the project can move forward.
