West Shore RCMP are investigating after what they believe was a drug deal gone wrong.
Constable Alex Berube says a 40 year old Duncan man admitted himself into Victoria Hospital with a gunshot wound on Monday, just after 4pm.
The suspect is described as wearing a dark baseball cap, blue jeans and a hoodie. He is believed to be in his late thirties, six-foot-two and between 150 and 160 pounds.
Constable Berube says the RCMP believes there is no danger to the public.
