A community picnic will take place today at Centennial Park.
It starts at 5:30.
It’s actually being held in conjunction with the Cowichan Women Against Violence Society’s annual general meeting.
Executive Director, Jane Sterk says a special guest will be in attendance…..
The food is free and there will be inspirational speakers, information booths, entertainment and games and activities for the kids.
