Salt Spring Residents, Subject to Boil Water Advisory

Residents in the Highland part of the Highland-Fernwood water service area on Salt Spring Island are subject to a boil water advisory.

The Capital Regional District issued the advisory, in partnership with Island Health, after water quality samples indicated that there may be bacteria in the system.

Residents are asked to boil their drinking water for at least one minute until further notice.
