BC Ferries says the re-fit of the MV Klitsa (photo courtesy BC Ferries) is complete and service on the Mill Bay – Brentwood has resumed.

The Klitsa went into dry dock April 13th for engine and propeller servicing, a new paint job, and general cleaning and maintenance.

Debora Marshall of BC Ferries says while spring isn’t when Ferries normally takes its ships out of service, on this route the timing made a lot of sense.

While the Klitsa was in dry dock travellers had no choice but to use Highways 17 and 1 to get between Mill Bay and Brentwood.
