People will gather in Duncan at noon today (Fri) in a call to action based on the statistic that one in 3 women will be beaten or raped in their lifetime.
The global social action is called One Billion Rising.
Nika Stafford, one of the organizers of the event says it’s been growing every year……
It starts at noon in Duncan city square and features speakers and dancing.
