Officials are still keeping an eye out on that wildfire north of Bamberton just off the Malahat.

Drysdale says the incident commander wants to make sure there is no risk of the fire flaring up again before declaring it one hundred per cent contained.
Traffic was snarled yesterday (Thurs) on the Malahat as a result of the fire that started around one o’clock and went long into the evening.
