Duncan man in police custody after rampage in Victoria

Police have a 41-year-old man from Duncan in custody after a trail of destruction was caused Thursday night in BC’s capital.

The Victoria Police Department say the man was arrested after a cop car was rammed, numerous collisions were caused and pedestrians were driven at.

Police say after the driver was identified as being from Duncan, detectives contacted the Duncan RCMP to have them check his residence.

Constable Mike Russell is with the Victoria Police Department.

RCMP are continuing to investigate the matter.
