North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are hoping someone in the community is able to assist them in a recent odd theft.
A few weeks ago a local resident called Police to report a polished prop, worth approximately 10 thousand dollars and standing an impressive seven feet tall and seven feet wide, had been stolen.
The prop in question has “Beach Drive Bed and Breakfast” stained in the brass.
The investigator has recovered some portions of the prop but would like to locate the remainder of it.
If there are any businesses or individuals out there who have been propositioned by anyone looking to sell portions of the prop or know anyone who has, please contact the police office.
